Sound Reviews for the Kurzweil K2xxx Series
Greytsounds
Don't be caught rolling your eyes at the pun. Mr. Grey has generated some
of my favorite VAST sounds for the Kurzweil series, and his 4 floppy disks
have perhaps the best bang for the buck of any sound developer out there.

Sweetwater Grand Piano CD
Might I interest you in a Steinway grand piano for under $200? This disc features a fantastic 64mb sampled Steinway which is woody and thunky and a joy to play. It actually made me go out and get better speakers so I could play the deep notes at a higher volume without "flapping" the subwoofer. There's also a very pleasant 60+MB Bosendorfer and a 50+MB Seiler, each with their own special sound. The lightweight smaller sized samples are pretty useless to me, compared to the biggest three, simply because they just don't have the quality of the larger sample sets.
Deaf Con
A big waste of money. SonicMatter.com had a good review of these patches,
but although they show some creative ways in which VAST can be used to generate
noise, the sounds by and large aren't that useful for music production.
