Vintage
Synth Rescue Kit: Ensoniq ESQ-1 / ESQ-M / SQ-80 The Ensoniq ESQ-1 keyboard and ESQ-M rackmount synthesizer feature 8 simultaneous voices with 3 digital oscillators and a 4-pole resonant analog lowpass filter (the same fat sound as the Prophet Five), making it one of the first hybrid synthesizers. The SQ-80, released two years later, increased the number of onboard waveforms from 32 to 72. These synths competed with the Korg M1, which cost a lot more. Ensoniq's affordable alternatives were surprisingly professional, even though had a lower retail price. As many folks have moved on to other, newer keyboards, rackmounts, and virtual synths, now is a great time to get great professional vintage gear for a lot less money. This disc offers a lot of information and sounds for Ensoniq synths and will help you get the most from your investment. All files shipped to you on CD-ROM that is compatible with both Macintosh & Windows PCs. This would make a wonderful addition to anyone who owns any of these synthesizers. There are separate folders for ESQ series synths, and some of these files may work across models. However, no conversion programs are included. Breathe more life into your vintage Ensoniq by using the files on this cd! [This disc has been double-checked, and does *NOT* contain copyrighted patches from other commercial developers.] |
