Vintage
Synth Rescue Kit: Korg M1 Series CD-ROM for Macintosh & PC The Korg M1 series was the most popular synthesizer on the planet because it was easy to use, attractive, and had the best sounds. As many folks have moved on to other, newer keyboards, rackmounts, and virtual synths, now is a great time to get great profesional vintage gear for a lot less money. So where are the cool sounds? I have compiled over 270 sysex files containing over 13,000 patches and combinations for the M1 series synthesizers, including: M1, M1R, T1, T2, T3, M1Rex, M1 Plus, T1ex, T2ex, T3ex. I have also packed in Sysex editor/librarians for Macintosh and PC to help you organize all these sounds into usable banks. As an added bonus, I've transferred all the patches into a huge Emagic SoundDiver library which works on Mac & PC that will makes it quite easy for finding just the right sound. There's even some sysex files to set up General MIDI on your M1, which did not become a standard until several years after the M1 was released. You will also find a ton of useful and relevant information for people who own synthesizers from the M1's family. For instance, we have the manuals for the M1, M1 Plus and EX upgrade, battery changing information, keyside reference chart, an M1 clinic, patch restore information, how to set up panning, bank lists, and more. I built a self-contained Patch Listings database to keep track of patch names and categories. Plus I've included several MP3's I recorded in ProTools which contain the demo sequences from many of the expansion cards so you know if they're worth tracking down. All files shipped to you on CD-ROM that is compatible with both Macintosh & Windows PCs. This would make a wonderful addition to anyone who owns an M1-class synthesizer. Breathe more life into your vintage Korg by using the files on this cd! [This disc has been double-checked, and does *NOT* contain copyrighted patches from other commercial developers.] |
